• Configuration Wizard works only within one machine where it is installed,
• Configuration Wizard takes resolution of all displays of Windows,
• Polywall calculates work area from the main display </aside>

After Polywall installation the fastest way to setup Polywall within one machine is to use Configuration Wizard.

To start Wizard, make sure that the “Launch configurator wizard” checkbox is selected after Polywall Kit Installation, or launch the “Configuration Wizard” shortcut.

Polywall Configuration Wizard welcome window will appear on the screen.

Click “Next” to start working with the configurator.

To get the license, send an email to [email protected] the “Hardware ID” that appeared on the screen. Enter the license code received in the “License code” field.

Press “Next”.

Make necessary settings to display the content on the display: Select the number of video cubes horizontally and vertically.

• “Video wall layout” - source displaying layout.
• “Hide Windows desktop on video wall” – it allows the user to hide desktop icons and the Windows control panel, as well as to replace the background picture with the black color during Visualizer operation.
• “Start Visualizer application on Windows startup” - it enables the Visualizer application to be launched when Windows starts.

Press “Next”.

Select the Worker IP address, Port and connection type.

• Worker IP - network interface which will be used for connection with Server. Should be in the same network with other Polywall components.
• Worker Port should be opened in firewall or antivirus and not occupied by any third-party software.
• Encrypted connection enables work of Polywall software via https.

<aside> 💡 If you have Std or Lite edition or there is no HTTPS requirement in your project, please do not tick it.

Press “Next”.

Select the Server’s IP address.

<aside> 💡 If you want to control the Server from another PC, select the IP address different from localhost (‘127.0.0.1’).

<aside> 💡 If Polywall components are to be installed on other computers, select that IP address which will be in the shared local network with these components.

Press ‘Next’.

Select Designer interface language.
